Bitumen heavy-duty foil 100 x 100cm, adhesive on both sides

Bitumen heavy-duty foil is heavier than our bituminised board and therefore even more efficient. It is manufactured from bitumen-impregnated foil. It is permanently elastic, odourless and harmless to health. Suitable for sound deadening and the additional stiffening of metal parts in machine and plant engineering, computer insulation, metal parts in cars, boosting the noise insulation of foam materials and much more.

Mounting

Please note that additional mechanical fixation may be necessary, particularly in the case of mounting to a wall or ceiling. For mounting on walls, the adhesive strength of the sheets will generally already be sufficient. Often, however, additional adhesive is required to secure the bitumen to the wall, ceiling or foam material.

Please note for bitumen film

Bitumen film is an industrial product - uneven edges or small cracks on the edges are typical of the material. Similarly, wrinkles in the middle of the sheet are normal, as the sheets must be folded once for parcel shipment. Operation is not affected in any way. The sheets are usually used for the sound deadening of metal parts and simply glued onto or glued between two foam materials as additional noise insulation - in both cases, optics are not important. Please note that uneven edges, wrinkles and small cracks therefore do not constitute grounds for complaint. If the appearance of the sheets is particularly important to you, try our bituminised board, as this often does not show as much minor fraying.
