Pyramid foams are used like convoluted- or plane foams in resonance reduction, though they often appear optically more ambitious and more professional. Our acoustic pyramid foam  is manufactured of a high quality in Germany, provides a high volume weight, is porously foamed, has a pyramid-base ratio of 2:1 and is thus optimized for acoustic insulations. Additionally, all of our pyramid-plates come with a flame protection and provide therewith a plus of safety. If you`re looking for white or light grey acoustic foams, we advise you our Ester foams or our hightech product Basotect.

What are the benefits of Micropor pyramid foam?

As you can see on our website, we offer various qualities of pyramid foam. Micropor foam is a high-quality PU foam that we manufacture with a particularly high density, the smallest pores and an optimised base/pyramid ratio. The high density is conducive to a long service life (normally 15-20 years); the small foam porosity ensures improved absorption, because sound waves are caught and absorbed better and more intensively in foam; and we have optimised the base/profile ratio by means of reverberation chamber measurements so that you can realise the best possible sound in the room. All in all, this sound absorber represents a premium product that is also fully made in Germany.

The panels have a very uniform and even colour, and, because the pyramids are flush with the panels at the edges, you cannot see any joints between the foam panels when the panels are laid edge to edge.  The foams also feature a flame-retardant finish to further increase safety.  It is sensible to use a foam that is at least flame-retardant, especially in the vicinity of electrical appliances, sockets, etc. The price is slightly higher than our ECO series, for example, but the quality and the absorption levels are outstanding for pyramid foam. If you are planning a more professional application, or want to mount the foam for a longer period (for longer projects) and have very high expectations regarding the acoustic development in the room, you should choose our Micropor series, which we can also provide as flat panels or as convoluted panels. Needless to say, we also offer coloured foams. And if you want high-end absorption and prefer lighter colours, such as white or light grey, you can also find Basotect acoustic foam, which comes in many different shapes and which we are also happy to ship from our warehouse. With this acoustic foam you can be sure that you will receive a very high-quality product.
