Wave foam 50 x 50 x 3cm anthracite
Our Wave acoustic foams, in ECO quality, and with an impressive price-to-performance ratio, are ideal for reducing reverberation. As the panels are flush with the edges, there are no visible transitions from panel to panel. This makes it possible to create visually appealing patterns on walls or ceilings.

When to use Wave foam
Our new Wave foam with its wavelike surface effectively breaks the sound and considerably reduces reverberation in your rooms. We manufacture the foam in Germany and can therefore guarantee a high manufacturing quality. Great advantage of Wave foams: If you lay it end to end, you will not see any transitions from panel to panel, as the waves are flush with the edge, as with pyramid foams, for example. The wave cut makes it possible to create visually appealing patterns on walls or ceilings.
Wave foam is best used to reduce reverberation or noise in the room itself. Neither Wave foams nor pyramid foams or egg-box foams are particularly suitable for external insulation. They lack the necessary mass.If you want effective insulation (and not damping), then you should take a look at our section on "Sound insulation".
However, if you have too much reverberation in the room and want to reduce sonic reflections, our Wave foam is just right for you. Customers often ask us when to use Wave foam, pyramid foam or egg-box foam - quite simply: the acoustic benefits and sound absorption are in principle identical for the variants. All have a profiled surface. The advantage of Wave foam, however, is that the wave ends of the panel are flush and you can achieve a more uniform laying pattern when laying end-to-end joints. You cannot really tell where one sheet ends and the next foam begins. This is different from egg-box foam - since the nubs at the end of the panels are irregular (this is due to the manufacturing process), and so it is easier to see the transitions. However, egg-box foam is usually much cheaper. Which variant you choose is therefore only relevant for visual reasons - not for acoustic reasons.
Shipping
You may place your order for just one plate alone - we have no minimum order values. In order that you are able to calculate the shipping-costs, we are going to inform you in the following about, how many plates of this type fit maximum in one package. You may order various mixed plates. Also - the shop automatically calculates the appropriate shipping price for you.
Up to 34 of these plates fit in each package. More information.
