Our partition wall tape 640 B1 is a one-sided self-adhesive tape which can be applied directly from the roll and which is able to meet the requirements of building material class B1 according to DIN 4102-1 under certain conditions. It is characterised by permanent, high elasticity. Partition wall tape 640 B1 is highly adhesive - even at low temperatures. It is particularly suitable for metal substructures and partition wall construction. In particular, it is used wherever fire protection testing is required. On request, we can provide the corresponding test certificate.

The following requirements must be met for building material class DIN 4102 B1 to be fulfilled

1. The joint sealing tape must be used between metallic or solid mineral building materials, compressed to at least 50% of its initial thickness.
2. The surface of the joint sealing tape must not be treated with paints, coatings or similar.
3. The joint sealing tape must not be exposed to outdoor weathering.
