Acoustic convoluted foam MicroPor 100x50x5cm anthracite

Our Micropor PurSinus sound insulation convoluted foam (PU-foam) is very porously foamed. This acoustic convoluted foam provides a brilliant burl-base ratio of 2:1, and is also because of its high volume weight most effective! Resonance reduction, noise insulation and quality at an extra high level. This foam is already equipped with the flame-retarding composition for your additional safety! If you`re looking for white or light grey acoustic foams, we advise you our Ester foams or our hightech product Basotect.

Uses for Micropor convoluted foam

During production we pay great attention to achieving the highest possible quality – the smallest pores (Micropor), a high density (approx. 30 kg/m³ (cubic meter)) and a particularly thick base allow this foam to achieve optimum absorption performance. It is especially effective at dampening interfering reverberation and noise within the room in question.  This foam immediately absorbs sound waves that are reflected by hard surfaces, such as wood, metal, glass, concrete, etc., and transforms them into heat.    This means that you can reduce the noise in the room quickly and at a low cost.  The thicker the foam layer that you choose, the better the absorption of even lower frequencies (see table above). This convoluted foam is almost certainly one of the best-quality sound absorbers available.  This design also features a self-adhesive back.  A thin – odourless – adhesive film allows you to stick the foam to nearly any surface, as long as it is dry and non-greasy (see "Gluing device" above for more information).  Best quality, "Made in Germany" foam.
