Kindergarten and School

The high noise level of children is often very disruptive in kindergartens and schools. With our products, you can remedy the situation in a cost-effective manner and lower the noise level significantly. Compliance with a high level of fire protection is important for these public facilities - DIN 4102 B1 is required here, thus high flame retardancy. Our Basotect foams comply with this important standard. The frequencies (children’s voices, etc.) can be absorbed ideally with a sheet thickness of 3 - 5 cm.

The sheets are mounted on the ceiling and should line at least 60% of its surface. The more sheets you mount on the ceiling, the less reflections there will be and the quieter it will be. Theoretically, you can also mount the sheets on the walls, but you should ensure that the sheets are mounted out of the reach of the children because they would pull on them otherwise and damage the sheets over time.

We have already successfully equipped hundreds of child care centres, schools, universities, etc., with our Basotect foams. You can easily perform the mounting yourself on-site because the sheets are only marginally heavier than styrofoam. Thus you do not require a craftsman.  If you want to add colour, you can cover the foams with colourful, thin fabrics, or we can hide the sheets with colour according to your requirements.
