Two areas are differentiated: Room acoustics and noise insulation

First area:room acoustics

Restaurants, bars and canteens have the same problem: The conversations of customers become increasingly louder until you can no longer hear yourself or almost have to shout because the sound waves in the room rise due to the scarcity of absorbing materials. You can remedy this situation quickly and easily with our products. You have two options here:

 

1st option

The look must match the atmosphere - the sheets should not be visible if possible. Here, you have only the option of mounting the sheets, for example, under the tables and chairs. It would be important that your customers could not touch the sheets, because they would break over time otherwise. Thus install the sheets at a sufficient distance from the edge of the table or chair. This solution is only the second best one because the sound which is produced must hit the floor and only after reflection is it then partly absorbed under tables and chairs. Suitable foams in this case are our acoustic foams made of Basotect absorber or PURPLAN foams with a thickness of 1 – 3 cm.

 

 2nd option

It is more effective if you attach the sheets to the ceiling or walls because the sound can then hit them directly. You can, for example, draw long tracks on the ceiling (with  acoustic foam made of Basotect decor) or line beautiful patterns on the ceiling with acoustic foam made of Basotect octa or mount small groups of sheets (for example, 4 pieces) with acoustic foam made of Basotect absorber. You can also let us disguise the colours of the sheets according to RAL and thus adapt them to your interior design.
