In production facilities or workshops, machines or knocking noises emit disruptive sound waves, which are reflected almost to 100% by the concrete or metal walls/ceilings. The noise rises constantly and creates a bad work environment. In this case, we recommend our highly flame-retardant acoustic foams made from Basotect. These are simply mounted to the ceiling. Our experience has shown that as complete a lining of the facility ceiling as possible (with recesses for bars, lights, etc.) is particularly advantageous.


The noise is drastically reduced by our acoustic foams made of Basotect absorber or acoustic foams made of Basotect decor. Our acoustic sheets with a thickness of 5 cm are advisable. Whether white or grey and whether absorber or decor with edge grinding is only a question of optics - the resonance problem is solved with both versions. Since the surfaces are usually several 100 m², it is advisable to use our self-adhesive sheets as it is particularly easy to mount them here.

Instead of our rectangular sheets, you can also use our acoustic foams made of Basotect baffle for ceiling heights over 6 m. The pillars are hung vertically from the facility ceiling depending on the available space (about one pillar per 2 m²). You can hang the pillars on nylon threads, for example, which you stretch across the room.
