You can address the issue at 2 points:
1. You line the roller shutter casing with our roller shutter casing insulation Rolaflex and reduce the noise which is produced by this resonance body. The sheets are adhered directly to the roller shutter casing. You will find more detailed information directly in the section roller shutter casing insulation.
2. You plug the window well with our ester sound insulation sheets or, even better, with our heavy rebond foam sheets. The thicker the foam, the better the insulation. The width and height of the sheets should be chosen about 1-2 cm longer so that the sheet is also held in the well - the sheets are flexible!
You can naturally combine points 1 and 2 and insulate both the roller shutter casing as well as plug the window well with a foam sheet to achieve the best possible insulation. You can remove the sheets during the day and plug the window well again in the evening.
The only alternative to the above proposal would be to install a new soundproof window.

Fire protection is an important issue when installing acoustic foam sheets.
The quality of the acoustic foam is largely responsible for its absorption behaviour.
Noise insulation is much more complicated than pure acoustic improvement or resonance removal.
